We were asked to visit London as part of our research for our Made in Britain Assignment on the 26/11/2013. This was to help us in further developing our ideas, looking at the different sources of materials and details from vintage clothing. Our tasks for a day trip in London were taking photographs or/and quick sketches of the entire relevant object. Our first visit was ‘The Vintage Showroom’ where I get to see many kinds and style of the clothes inspiration as well as accessories. It was worth visiting their store and I think the clothing were well organised, you can clearly see each garments in its section.

These are the most inspirational images of the vintage clothing which I found that they could be useful to look at. Leather were the most fabric used for the jackets which I will be getting for my fabric samples. I think using pressed buttons is very enchanting which is an idea that I could us for my jacket fastening. Also looking at all the different style on collars that I could be further developing. After our visited at the vintage showroom we went to Sevile Row street, while I was there I have taken some interesting window dressing of many high ends designers and street shots.

Extremely, motivated window dressing by high ends' designers. I found it was useful seeing their creativity, how they presented their designs. From visiting London being able to feel and see different sources of clothing from both Vintage and Contemporary designers I have gained lots of different ideas that I will be looking to recreated within my design ideas this involved in pockets, fastening and materials used.
